As our community continues to grow, we are blessed to welcome many worthy causes and individuals seeking assistance from our generous tzibbur. At the same time, it has become increasingly difficult for individuals to properly verify the legitimacy and need of every collector who comes to our city.

The Dallas Rabbinical Council (DRC) writes to address an issue of profound
importance to every Jewish family: the sacred obligation of honoring the deceased through timely burial in accordance with halacha and our mesorah.
